ALP has an extensive collection of amateur film archives, a record of life in Britain and abroad in the 20th Century. The archive includes film from the 1920's to the 1970's and captures family life, holidays, travel and transport, foreign visits and domestic life, homes, mod cons and popular culture. There is an especially good collection of films covering the War 1939 - 1945.
